 |  Ba Sing Se is the titanic capital of the Earth Kingdom, wherein it encompasses nearly all of the northeastern corner.
The city is by far the largest city in the world, essentially being more of a small country than a mere city. Ba Sing Se means "Impenetrable City"; the city is so named for its world-famous walls, the gates of which have no hinges or other hardware, and are opened by use of Earthbending. Behind the Outer Wall lies a large expanse of farmland, Lake Laogai, and several mountains. The Inner Wall encloses the city itself. The city is also notable for having a unique system of dividing the populace into different parts of the city based on social status.
| 0 | 0 | | |  The second largest city of the Earth Kingdom. Known for its famous delivery system. Omashu is located in the Kolau Mountain Range in the southwestern Earth Kingdom. The city is built on a number of hills, and is surrounded by a wide gorge. Omashu is heavily fortified.

| 0 | 0 | | |  The Si Wong Desert is the largest desert in the World of Avatar. It is almost impossible to successfully navigate through, due to its sheer size. It is also known for being the hottest and driest place in the world. Small tribes of Sandbanders inhabit the desert.

The town resides a broad spectrum of residents, ranging from the poor in the main city, and the rich in large, expansive estates in the outskirts.
| 0 | 0 | | |  Chin Village is an average sized town located on the cliffs of the Earth Kingdom's south-western coast. The "Avatar Day" festival is hosted here. The village is named after Chin the Conqueror, a tyrant and warlord.

Some say it was formed by a natural process of millions of years of erosion, but others say it was created by angered spirits. The canyon itself is filled with insects and omnivorous creatures which can be very dangerous.
